The latest update to the app brings some nice features for a better experience on the tablet with the ability to pinch-to-zoom images on tablets. A logical addition, but one that should have been there from the start. To me the most interesting novelty in this update is that users who do not have a Flipboard account will now be able to change push notifications options in settings.

Flipboard only launched its Android app recently. The app allows users to browse through their Facebook, Twitter and Google+ streams, as well as Google Reader feeds in a beautiful flipping manner.
