Opera ports ads blocking to its official Opera Mini web browser for Android.

It was back in April 8 that Opera introduced its ad blocking feature to the beta version of the browser for adventurous users to try and provide feedback. Since then, it seems the company is quite satisfied with the feedback and is today porting the feature to the official app for all to use and block those pesky ads. This feature is listed first in the change log, but of course there is more as per the change log below:

  • Ad blocker
  • New page-loading animations
  • Stop button in the bottom navigation bar
  • Feature hints
  • News news feed layout
  • "Add to home screen" option in the address bar "+" menu
  • Installation and startup time improvements.
Get the update from Google Play store.
