SofaScore has been updated today as it prepares itself for the next season of the English Premier League - and maybe for other leagues across the globe, but I'm a fan of EPL.
In this update, soccer fans will be able to jot down notes within the app. An icon has been placed next to the sharing icon in the match details page. This feature could prove useful if you need to remember something related to the game.
The other feature is about TV broadcast. When the latter is "available in a certain country, this will be showed directly on TV channels country list (green dot)."
SofaScore is available free in Google Play Store and contains some in-app purchase.
I have been slowly gravitating away from Evernote and that move started before they implemented their new terms of service that only allows for the app to run on two devices and you have to go premium to enjoy Evernote across all your devices. I believe this move won't help Evernote gain more adoption when users can and have been migrating to Google Keep for its simplicity or Microsoft OneNote for its robustness. I use the latter on all my devices and have been happy ever since. With that said, let's see what Evernote has for its users in its new update.
Evernote was updated two days ago and it took its time to show on my Samsung. It's finally here with a new feature that gives users count statistics on their notes for words, character, line and paragraph. This is the only new feature.
The team also made some improvements to the camera auto-focus and squashed some bugs.

Evernote is a great productivity tool and it just got better on Android, offering new ways to create notes on the home screen using 3 three new widgets. The previous widget was a separate app, while this update, which raises the version to 7.2, integrates the widgets.
Below are the three new widgets that come with the new Evernote:
- Actions widget (1×1) – Need quick access to a note, the camera, or search? Pull your favorite feature out of the app into a single, dedicated icon to just start doing whatever it is you need to do.
- Action bar (4×1) – Select from 11 different actions to create your personal best-of-Evernote functions.
- List widget (4×2) – Shortcuts to key actions of your choosing as well as a list of notes. The source of the notes is up to you. Designate a specific notebook, use recent notes to hop into what you were just editing, or populate it with your reminders to stay on top of to-do’s.
Evernote, The leading and multi platform note taking app has been updated last week with features that will make users happy, especially those who like jotting down notes using their own handwriting. The latter does make taking notes faster than typing or swiping the traditional onscreen keyboards on phones and tablets.
