New Adobe Photoshop Express for Android lets you seamlessly share photos to Instagram.

Adobe Photoshop Express for Android just got better today thanks to an update that will make users happy, especially those with an Instagram account. Instagram is a very popular photo sharing platform, more popular than Snapchat and gradually gaining more and more users. A popularity that parent company Facebook is now trying to monetize and I'm not sure that move will play well with users. Only the future will tell. but I digress.

In this update, Adobe is adding the square aspect ratio for Instagram. Users will be able to share photos to Instagram "without worrying about the 1:1 aspect ratio. PhotoShop Express will handle that automatically. This is a great addition.

PhotoShop Express now supports "Split Tone". This new feature will let users "add different colors to the shadows and the highlights of an image to create a surreal effect."

That's it for this update. Head over to Google Play Store to download or update Adobe PhotoShop Express and enjoy hassle-free image editing to share on Instagram.

Change your picture and wallpaper directly in Adobe Photoshop Express for Android.

Depending on where you stand Adobe is either a software household name or a name that is almost synonymous with vulnerabilities. Not all Adobe products have this bad reputation and fortunately Photoshop Express falls into that category of apps you can trust. If you do not have the app on your Android device yet or are looking for a good photo editor, this one is definitely worth your time. And it's completely free.

That said, Adobe Photoshop Express has been updated with some new features like the addition of a "Fade" effect and the ability to print directly from the application. This update also lets you change your device wallpaper and set profile pictures in the app via the share menu. The latter, while a great idea, only supports apps like Contacts and apps that let you set photos as wallpaper and that's basically any photo and launcher app you have installed on your device. Adobe Photoshop, however, only support WhatsApp for profile pictures and it does not show any social networks in the menu.

Here's what's new in version 4.0.451 of Adobe Photoshop Express:
  • Add "Fade" effect and give a matte feel to your photos.
  • Print photos directly from the application.
  • Change wallpaper and profile pictures directly from the share screen.
  • UI improvements in crop tool.
  • Bug fixes.
Adobe Photoshop Express can be downloaded in Google Play Store.

Adobe Photoshop Express supports 9 new languages, image cropping in the original image's aspect ratio.

If you pull up the Play Store on your device and make a search for photo editing apps, the search will bring up thousands and thousands of matching apps. So much that you end up scrolling endlessly through the results, making choosing one difficult, especially since the store search engine does not necessarily sort the list with the most popular app at the top. So, if you’re a developer and unless your app has a well-known brand name, good luck with making your app visible to the billions of Android users. Adobe Photoshop Express does not have this recognition problem if 50 million downloads are any indication.

Adobe Photoshop Express is a brand that inspires trust. The app supports the basics like photo cropping, straightening, rotating, etc. It also allows for quick and easy editing of photos on the go. But it also includes features like blemish removal, corrections, filters, image rendering engine, noise reduction among a lot more. And the app is regularly updated.

In the latest update, Adobe added support for 9 new languages: Filipino, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Malay, Romanian, Thai, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. The update also lets you “crop your images in the original image’s aspect ratio.

Check out the ret of the change log below and head into the Play Store to update/download Adobe Photoshop Express.
